Dr. Faisal Zawawi is a Consultant Otolaryngologist and a fellowship trained endoscopic ear surgeon.

Dr. Zawawi is the Chairman of the Cochlear Implants and Hearing Aids Unit at King Abdulaziz University (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) and the President of Middle East Symposium of Pediatric Otolaryngology (MESPO).

He has published more than 85 peer r

Dr. Zawawi is the Chairman of the Cochlear Implants and Hearing Aids Unit at King Abdulaziz University (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) and the President of Middle East Symposium of Pediatric Otolaryngology (MESPO).

He has published more than 85 peer reviewed publications and many book chapters. He is on the editorial board of Otology & Neurotology Open and a regular reviewer for many journals. His main research focus is on auditory and speech development in children with hearing impairment.
